when the sun rests low on the horizon, the film embraces warm tones, rich greens, and soft natural
light to elevate the property's unique atmosphere and sense of exclusivity.
Created as the resort's season opening campaign, the visual narrative blends cinematic imagery with
carefully crafted sound design and voice elements inspired by the spirit of Greece. Drawing from the
landscapes of Pylos, the rhythm of nature, and the authenticity of the region, the film captures not
only the beauty of the destination, but also the feeling of being immersed within it.
Production Details
This campaign was captured using a high-end cinema production workflow designed to match the
refined character of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino. Filming was executed with RED Cinema
Cameras, paired with anamorphic lenses to achieve a cinematic widescreen aesthetic, organic lens
characteristics, and a timeless visual depth.
The lighting approach combined carefully controlled artificial sources with natural sunlight, utilizing
Aputure professional lighting systems, diffusion frames, reflectors, and negative fill techniques to
shape light while preserving a natural and authentic atmosphere throughout the film.
To maximize the beauty of the resort and its surrounding landscape, the production was scheduled
around sunrise and sunset, allowing the warm Mediterranean light to enhance the property's
architecture, textures, and natural environment. The visual palette was intentionally crafted around
warm golden hues, rich greens, and soft highlights, creating an elevated and luxurious feel.
